Non-Greek Step-Show 2009
Date: December 4th
Placed: 1st
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE ASA STEP TEAM:
FIRST PLACE NON-GREEK STEP SHOW 2009 |

Banquet Theme Background Info:
The banquet’s theme stems from an initiative called LightUpNigeria, a movement advocating for constant electric power to Nigerian homes and businesses. LightUpNigeria targets its advocacy to each level of government in Nigeria to make sustainable and consistent power generation and supply its priority. The initiative also aims to engage Nigerians (especially those in Diaspora), as well as anyone willing to help, on the issue of inconsistent and abysmal power generation and supply to the country of Nigeria. However, our theme encompasses all of the continent, hence: Light .Up.Africa. Our initiative for this reception is to ignite philanthropy in the hearts and minds of Africans in Diaspora, or in those who desire true uplifting for the masses on the continent of Africa.
Please join us for an amazing reception and great food at the Austin Sheraton Hotel. Come prepared to be enLIGHTened, entertained, encouraged and ENGAGED!
