My name is Olamide Taiwo Oludolapo Kayode, otherwise known as Lande. I am Nigerian diva that was born in London, England and raised in Sugarland, Texas. I am currently a junior at The University of Texas majoring in Corporate Finance and Investment Banking at the Mccombs School of business. I am planning on moving to New York City right after I graduate, head for graduate school and eventually dominate in the fashion/business industries. I have been a commited memeber of ASA since my freshman year by holding leadership positions such as Fashion Show Director and Special Events Coordinator. Now that I have been appointed as President I am excited to be part of the executive team that will take ASA to unprecedented levels. The question is: Will you join us?

Hey Guys! My name is Raymond Eyong Tambe and I’m the Vice-President of one of the best student organizations on the University of Texas at Austin campus; the Africans Students Association. I was born in Austin, TX, raised in Plano, TX, and my family now lives in Allen, TX, but obviously I go to school here in my birthplace. However, my family is originally from Cameroon! I’m in the Business Honors Program at the Red McCombs School of Business as a marketing major (formerly Corporate Finance), and I’m also majoring in sociology. I hope to eventually go to a great law school, hopefully in California and graduate to practice entertainment law. I’ve been involved in ASA since my freshman year, and my sophomore year as the advertising chair. I’ve been member of the month twice, male member of the year once, and I’m excited to continue doing great things for and with every member of ASA!

Hi! I’m Tyler Kiles, a Sophomore Pre-Pharmacy student. I was born in Southfield, Michigan, and raised in Arlington Texas, where I attended Martin High School. I became a member of ASA early in my freshman year because even though I am African American, from Day One I felt welcome and included. I have been very active in ASA and have participated in intramural Flag Football and Basketball, the Fest Africa Fashion Show, Baylor Weekend, and Banquet Week, and was awarded Outstanding Member of the Year for 2008-2009. As Secretary of the African Students Association, I plan to organize and maintain meeting slides and member contact information, as well as be open and approachable for all members. A warm welcome to the African Students Association at the University of Texas at Austin!

I don't know what I'm doing yet after graduation but would like to go abroad before too long. I'm interested in international relations and diplomacy and plan to go to graduate school after a couple years. This is my 3rd term as Treasurer , and I was even Culture Chair for a short time. I went to Africa once - Cameroon - and would like to return some day in the near future.
